·     Simplify your search for Featured Listings, your search of homes in the Point2 National Listing Service (NLS), your search for new home construction, your search of the Southeast Florida MLS, and your search for homes meeting your specific detailed criteria.  The information you request can then be delivered to you by either e-mail, RSS feed or to an icon that you can place on your Google toolbar.

 

·     Present extensive real estate information, including homes for sale, articles and reports on buying a home, the home inspection, mortgage finance, selling your home, and relocation, all in a concise, coherent, logical and consistent manner.

 

·     Enhance your navigation into and around this site with numerous cross-links and back-links to pages within a given section, hot-links of pictures and logos, and with all links to outside websites opening in separate pages – allowing you to close those pages and return to this site rather than drifting away into cyber-space.

Portals To Real Estate Listings & Information

 

Each “page” on this website, indicated by the main buttons to your left, is a multi-page section or portal to additional information on either buying a home, selling your home, relocation or additional home listings or homes for sale.

 

For example, the “Selling” button to your left is a portal to a 10-page section containing 18 articles to download and 4 RSS feeds to 20 additional articles.  The “Mortgage Finance” button is a portal to a 4-page section with 16 articles to download, 15 external links, and 8 RSS feeds to 39 additional articles.  The “Our Point2 Listings” button is a portal to 3888 homes for sale, and real estate for sale and lease in 5 counties & 56 communities in Southeast Florida. And, of course on a larger scale, the “Search Florida MLS” is currently a portal to 63,182 homes for sale listed in the Regional MLS.

 

There are now 224 active pages on this site, each of which is loaded with real estate information.  There are nearly 500 external links as well as hundreds of free articles and reports to download – all relevant to real estate & Florida living.

 

Future “Pages”

 

Numerous future “pages” are in various stages of development.  Currently being developed are pages on sales “by owner” (FSBO’s), +55 communities, and real estate investments of all types, just to name a few.   A page on reverse mortgages will soon be added to the Mortgage Finance section.  As pages near completion they will be announced on this home page in a manner similar to the current announcement of the “Commercial Real Estate” page now being announced to your left.

 

I have recently added two RSS links from HUD. Together with the recently added RSS link from  Knowledge@Wharton , 6 new commercial RSS links, and the two new real estate feeds from Inman News, there are now 37 RSS Feeds delivering new information to this site on a daily basis.  All information is relevant to real estate, finance & Florida living.  So bookmark this page, add it to your “Favorites” and come back often.  There will always be new real estate information, “free stuff”, and opinion polls in which to participate.

 

No Pre-Registration

 

While most realtors require you to “pre-register” before allowing you to search for homes or view any of the articles posted to their websites, I have decided against such an approach.   Here you can search the entire Southeast Florida MLS, as my guest, and read posted reports and articles withoutthe requirement ofpre-registration.  Naturally I hope you do decide to register, and I have asked you to do so regarding some of the many reports and articles now posted.  I expect many more to be posted in the near future.

 

If you request one of my articles or reports you will receive it promptly.   It is also my practice to send you, with your permission, a few follow-up e-mails on related topics or periodically just to let you know we’re still around.   You can discontinue these at any time.   I will never bombard you with e-mails.   I am here to help and to assist you, if you want that help.  I can be reached, with one click, directly from any page on this website.

 

Local Communities & Neighborhoods

 

Finally, there are many beautiful local communities of homes in Palm Beach County.   I have selected 14 for presentation in depth on this site.  I anticipate adding additional communities from adjoining counties in the near future.   Likewise, I have initially elected to feature 13 neighborhoods of the many The Palm Beaches have to offer.   There are many more, equally as beautiful and more being added every year.   If there is another community or neighborhood that you would like to see featured here in depth, please let me know and I will attempt to accommodate you.

Median home prices in Palm Beach County, which began a 5-year rise in 2000, are now down 23.01% from the highs achieved in the fall of 2005.  Since the decrease is measured from the highs, this 23.01% drop is huge.  In the past months the median price has appeared to have stablized somewhat.

Stated another way, market prices for single-family homes rose 133% over the 5-year period of rising prices, and the market has now taken back 53.56% of that 133% gain.

In dollars, the 2000 median single family home price of $181,100 rose, over this five-year period, to $421,500. That median price is now $324,500, down $97,000 from the highs achieved in the fall of 2005.
